How to add text to a watermark

Add static text or dynamic participant credentials - like each runner's own bib number - as styled labels on your MyRun watermark.

Text labels sit on top of the watermark image, and they can be dynamic: in private events a label can read each participant's own credentials.

Steps

  1. In the watermark editor, click Add a text label.
  2. Choose the source: Static for fixed text you type, or Credential to pull a value from the participant's credentials (bib number, email), with a fallback text for when the value is missing.
  3. Style it: font family, size (proportional to photo height), weight (Regular/Semibold/Bold), color, alignment and optional uppercase.
  4. Position it with the same nine-anchor + offset system as the image.
  5. Save. Labels are configured per orientation, like the image.

Good to know

  • Dynamic personalization: with a credential label, each participant of a private event sees their own bib number (or name/email) stamped on their photos, automatically.
  • You can add multiple labels: for example a static copyright line at the bottom plus a dynamic bib in a corner.
