Hi! I'm Cristi Toma, Software Architect and founder of MyRun.
MyRun started where it mattered most: at our own running events, not in a corporate boardroom.
If you've ever organized a race, you know the work doesn't end at the finish line. And among all the things that follow, one keeps coming back: “When will the photos be available?”
As a Software Architect, I've always believed that repetitive work should be automated. Years ago, I built a simple automated tool for our own events with one goal in mind: help our media team spend less time sorting photos and get race memories to participants faster.
The results exceeded our expectations. Our team saved dozens of hours, every photographer uploaded their own photos straight to the same place, and runners loved being able to find their photos almost instantly.
Soon, other race organizers started asking the same question:
“Cristi, can we use this for our events too?”
That was the moment I realized this wasn't just our problem, it was a challenge shared by race organizers everywhere.
So I rebuilt the platform from the ground up, transforming it into an independent, modern, and easy-to-use solution for organizers, photographers, and runners alike.
That's how MyRun was born.
Our mission is simple: to make race photo management effortless. We help organizers deliver photos faster, photographers work more efficiently, and runners relive their best moments without the wait.
And we're just getting started. Every new feature is inspired by feedback from the organizers and photographers who use MyRun every day.
