Add a bib number or custom tag to a MyRun photo by hand, optionally marking where it is, and remove wrong tags.
Automatic detection catches most bibs, but a muddy or folded number can slip through. Manual tags fix that: they always count and carry the highest confidence.
Add a tag
- Open the event, then the album, and click the photo to open it full screen.
- In the bar at the bottom, type the bib number (or any custom tag) into "Add a tag...".
- Optionally click the crosshair icon first, then click the spot on the photo where the number is: the tag is stored with that location (the field switches to "Tag for selected location...").
- Press Enter or the add button. The tag appears in the photo's tag list immediately.
Remove a wrong tag
- In the same photo view, remove the incorrect tag from the tag list next to the input.
- For bib-wide cleanup, open the event's Recognition page, BIB tab: the table lists every detected bib with its photo count. Click Edit on a bib to review its photos and remove any photo that doesn't belong.
Good to know
- Manual tags are treated as certain: they're never filtered out by the confidence threshold, and they don't need to be on the valid BIB list.
- Tags added or removed here update participant search results right away.
