Let participants unlock a private MyRun gallery by taking a selfie that's matched against the event's photos - no participant list needed.
Selfie login secures an event without any participant list: the visitor takes a selfie, and if their face matches a photo taken at the event, they're in.
Steps
- Open the event's Privacy page.
- Turn on the Login with selfie toggle. Enabling it also makes the event private automatically.
- Optionally open the settings (gear icon) next to the toggle and turn on Restricted access: with it on, a logged-in participant sees only their own matched photos, not the full gallery.
- Save. Visitors now see a selfie prompt when opening the gallery.
Good to know
- Face recognition must be enabled on the event's albums for matching to work: no indexed faces, no matches.
- Selfie login works alongside a credentials CSV: participants can use whichever method fits them.
- It's the zero-admin option for private events: nothing to collect, import or distribute.
