How to add gift photos to every order

Gift photos are free extras you pick yourself, for example a finish line panorama or a group shot. Every buyer of the event receives them with their order, on top of the photos they paid for.

Steps

1. Open an album that sells its photos (Monetized is on).
2. Hover a photo, click its ⋯ menu and choose Gift. A green Gift badge appears on the photo, and a confirmation shows how many gifts the event has (for example 2/20).
3. Repeat for the other photos you want to give away. You can pick them from any monetized album of the event.
4. Go back to the event's Albums tab: a Gifts card now opens the album grid, showing "N / 20 gifts".
5. Click View gifts to see all gift photos in one place, each with the album it comes from. Use Remove gift under a photo (or Remove gift in the photo's ⋯ menu in its album) to take it out.

What buyers get

• In the gallery, a gift photo shows a gift icon ("Included as a gift") instead of the cart button: it can't be added to the cart, because it comes for free.
• Once the cart holds at least one paid photo, it shows a Gifts (included) section with the gift thumbnails and their count. An order with nothing to pay for gets no gifts.
• After payment, the download page lists the gifts in their own section, next to the paid photos, and they are downloaded together.

Good to know

• An event can have up to 20 gift photos. When you reach the limit, remove one before adding another.
• Gifts are only available in monetized albums, and only gifts in published albums are delivered: the Gifts page marks a gift from an unpublished album with "Album unpublished · not delivered to buyers".
• The Gifts card only appears once the event has at least one gift. It isn't a real album: you can't upload to it, publish it or move it.
• Gifts follow the same watermark rule as paid photos: they stay clean unless a watermark has Purchased switched on (see How to control where a watermark applies).
• Gifts are free, so they don't count as sold photos in your sales numbers.
