How to share a single album

Share or embed just one album instead of the whole event - visitors land straight on that album's photos.

Sometimes you want to send people to one specific album (a single race, distance or day) rather than the whole event gallery. You can share or embed a single album, and visitors land directly on its photos.

Steps

  1. Open the album you want to share and click Share.
  2. At the top of the dialog, pick the scope: Entire event or Only this album.
  3. Choose Only this album.
  4. On the Link tab, copy the Share Link (it looks like myrun.eu/share/album/<id>?lang=en) and post it wherever your participants are.
  5. To put the single album on your own website instead, switch to the Embed tab and copy the code: it adds an album-id attribute, <photo-album event-id="..." album-id="..." lang="..."></photo-album>.

Good to know

  • Visitors who open the link land straight on that album's photos - they do not see the list of the event's other albums, and there is no "back to albums" step.
  • Everything else works exactly like the full gallery, but limited to this album: BIB and selfie search return only this album's photos, the timeline (if enabled) covers this album, private-event login still applies, and buying photos works the same (cart, checkout, download).
  • Entire event stays the default, so opening Share and copying the link without changing the scope shares the whole event as before.
  • In the embed code, keep the event-id attribute even when album-id is set - the album belongs to that event.
  • Only published albums can be shared. A private event still asks visitors to log in on the album page first.
